Trafalgar East London is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Cash Office Supervisor / Regional Finance Manager (RFM) Assistant to join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong administrative and bookkeeping experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
As the Cash Office Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of cash office functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all cash office operations and processes
- Managing trust creditor validation and compliance
- Conducting Standard Bank verifications
- Ensuring compliance with change of banking detail procedures
- Providing cash office support and backup functions
- Accurately capturing business invoices with supporting documentation and approvals
- Creating and maintaining supplier records
- Requesting and reconciling creditor statements, and resolving queries
- Capturing bank entries, including BC wages uploads
- Managing petty cash, including controls and top-ups
- Overseeing fuel cards and bank cards, including tracking outstanding invoices
- Supporting general administrative tasks, including:
- Printer maintenance (Ricoh / Motswako systems)
- Stationery ordering and stock control
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Matric / National Senior Certificate
- Proven experience in a finance or cash office environment
- Basic accounting knowledge (bookkeeping experience advantageous)
- Experience within a property management environment (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate level)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
