Trafalgar East London is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Cash Office Supervisor / Regional Finance Manager (RFM) Assistant to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong administrative and bookkeeping experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

As the Cash Office Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of cash office functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all cash office operations and processes
  • Managing trust creditor validation and compliance
  • Conducting Standard Bank verifications
  • Ensuring compliance with change of banking detail procedures
  • Providing cash office support and backup functions
  • Accurately capturing business invoices with supporting documentation and approvals
  • Creating and maintaining supplier records
  • Requesting and reconciling creditor statements, and resolving queries
  • Capturing bank entries, including BC wages uploads
  • Managing petty cash, including controls and top-ups
  • Overseeing fuel cards and bank cards, including tracking outstanding invoices
  • Supporting general administrative tasks, including:
    • Printer maintenance (Ricoh / Motswako systems)
    • Stationery ordering and stock control

 

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Matric / National Senior Certificate
  • Proven experience in a finance or cash office environment
  • Basic accounting knowledge (bookkeeping experience advantageous)
  • Experience within a property management environment (highly advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate level)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
